Pheasants Forever

The chapter hall

Every rooster you flush walked out of somebody's habitat project. In farm country, a lot of that work runs through a Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever chapter: volunteers, a county name, a banquet in the Legion hall, and a youth hunt every fall. This is where they are in South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana.

Upcoming banquets

Banquet season is how chapters pay for habitat. The ticket buys seed, trees, and acres. These are the next banquets PF has posted for the seven states, earliest first, as of the 2026-10-05 snapshot. Youth hunts & hunter safety

Chapters run a lot of the first hunts in this part of the country: mentored pheasant days, youth outdoor days, learn-to-hunt clinics timed to the state youth seasons. Before a young hunter carries a gun, settle hunter education or the state's mentored/apprentice route, and walk through the field-safety basics.
