Our dogs

The bird doesn’t care how pretty your itinerary looks. The dog does the math in cover. Brüs and Karl—two German Shorthaired Pointers—are the field partners behind this desk. Orange collar for Brüs. Green for Karl. Gunner kennels labeled the same way on the truck.

Pheasant Directory is built by JJ Crouse with the Crouse family. The photos below are theirs: Nebraska for the field portraits, the truck day, the walk, and Easton in the grass with JJ; Montana for the snow hunt with son Taggart and Grandpa John.
