- Tick tool, gauze, self-adhesive wrap
- Booties + a spare pair (ice, cactus, stubble)
- Saline wash for eyes/ears after dusty CRP
- Emergency vet addresses saved offline for the county you’re hunting
Truck kit
- Crate or secure platform; towel; fan or blanket by season
- Extra water jug; cheap food for a long day
- Trash bags for wet gear and bird bags
- Soft cooler for birds so the dog isn’t riding with a feather blizzard
Nice-to-have, not theater
- GPS collar for big ND/SD/KS blocks
- E-collar only if you know how to use it as a cue reinforcer, not a panic button
- Hi-vis vest on the dog during deer overlap
